Identitas
Hello there, traveler. My name is Lucas, born in ’94, living in Germany. I work in software development and quality assurance, and I’ve also done some Scrum Master work here and there. Writing code and keeping quality high isn’t the only thing I’m into, though. I’m interested in far too many things at once: I’m a bit of a history nerd, I enjoy discussing Western philosophy—especially Stoicism—and from time to time I like to cast a few spells in a round of Magic: The Gathering. I’m also building my own fantasy world, so you could say I’m a writer as well… though that might be a stretch. Let’s call it a hobby author.
Hortus
This blog exists because I enjoy sharing the ideas and concepts I’m working on, documenting my software experiments, and exploring Stoic principles in a modern world. It’s part of my digital garden—the public side of it, so to speak.
Intentio
Because I’m interested in so many things at once, I often end up feeling overwhelmed. That’s why I started using a note-taking tool—currently Obsidian—in the hope of reaching a higher level of clarity. And who knows, maybe someone out there will find some of these ideas interesting… maybe even get involved.
